Crankcase quattrini for vespa smallframe, rr version Crankcase for vespa special, et3 and pk entirely melted and machined in italy. with hardened thickness, chill casting process with galsi9 tempered material ans assembly with 13 socket head screws (6 mm each). at the flywheel side they are machined in order to house the vespatronik ignition as well and in the upper part they are preset for the assembly of mufflers rotating behind the shock absorber (m3xc type, r type or similar). in the front part a reed luggage carrier is placed in a central position and it is large enough to house a big embedded reed valve (slightly smaller than the m1l 09). originally it is closed by casting, however it is sufficient to open it in order to assemble the cylinders without intake. the support arm is much more robust than the original one, and it is adapted in order to allow the use of a 3,50/10 tyre. moreover they are provided with a support for the water pump which is driven by quadruple gear cog (third gear). the large and thick base is designed to house different kinds of cylinders of series m, r or of other brands without casting deposits. inside the pump crankcase it is machined for the assembly of its dedicated full shoulder crankshaft, with connecting axle length 48mm, 20-52-15mm main bearings (code 6304/c4) and 20-35-7mm oil seals both removable from the outside. as far as other components are concerned (gear, wheel pin, selector, etc.) it is possible to assemble original spare parts.
